Construction Pixie
Preferred availability: Thursday through Monday
As a Construction Pixie, you’ll play an important role in the setup and breakdown of Pixie Spirit Fest. Together with the build team, you’ll help make sure the festival grounds are ready on time to welcome our visitors, and that everything is properly dismantled and cleared away afterwards.
You’ll help with setting up tents, stages, stands, barriers, and other festival facilities. You’ll also assist with moving and positioning materials, making sure everything is built securely, safely, and neatly.
During the breakdown, you’ll help dismantle, collect, and store materials in the appropriate locations.
We’re looking for hands-on people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’re practical, enjoy working as part of a team, and are comfortable with physical work. Experience in construction or festival production is a plus, but enthusiasm, commitment, and a great team spirit are just as important to us.
Decoration Pixie
Preferred availability: Thursday through Monday
As a Decoration Pixie, you’ll help transform the festival grounds into Pixie Spirit Fest. During the setup, you’ll work alongside the decoration team to build, dress, and bring the festival grounds to life.
You’ll help with placing and hanging decorations, preparing different areas of the festival, and creating the perfect Pixie atmosphere. After the festival, you’ll help with the breakdown by collecting, dismantling, cleaning, and carefully storing the decorations and materials.
You’re practical, work neatly, and enjoy creating something special together with others. You have an eye for detail and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.
Catering Pixie
Preferred availability: Thursday through Monday
As a Catering Pixie, you’ll make sure our Pixie Crew is well looked after throughout the festival. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving meals for our volunteers and crew. Thanks to you, everyone can start the day with a full belly and plenty of energy to make the festival an amazing experience together!
You’ll help with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, while keeping the kitchen and work areas clean, organized, and hygienic. Since you’ll be cooking for a larger group, good planning and the ability to keep an overview are essential, especially when things get busy.
For this role, we’re looking for someone with experience cooking for large groups who holds an SVH diploma or has comparable relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
Pixie Driver
Preferred availability: Friday through Monday
As a Pixie Driver, you’ll be an important part of the Pixie Crew. You’ll make sure that artists and other guests reach their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time.
Your responsibilities will include airport transfers on Friday and Monday, as well as shuttle services between the hotel, Pixie Camping, and the festival grounds throughout the weekend.
As a Pixie Driver, you’ll have direct contact with artists, participants, and other guests. That’s why we’re looking for someone with a valid driver’s license who can drive safely and independently, while also being hospitable, sociable, and professional.
Since we welcome visitors and artists from different countries, it’s important that you speak both Dutch and English fluently.
Vendor Coordinator
Preferred availability: Friday through Sunday
As a Vendor Coordinator, you’ll be the main point of contact for our vendors during Pixie Spirit Fest. You’ll make sure they feel welcome, know where to go, and know who to turn to if they have any questions or run into problems during the festival.
During setup on Friday, you’ll welcome the vendors and guide them to their assigned pitch. You’ll assist with practical questions where needed and help ensure that the setup runs smoothly and according to schedule.
Throughout the festival, you’ll remain available as the first point of contact for our vendors. If a vendor runs into an issue or needs help with something, you’ll think along with them, look for a solution, or involve the right person or team.
You’ll also help make sure our vendors feel welcome and well looked after throughout the festival. You’ll regularly make rounds around the festival grounds, offering them a cup of coffee or tea, while checking in to make sure everything is going well.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who is sociable, communicative, helpful, and solution-oriented. You’re able to keep an overview, stay calm when things get busy, and enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people.
Festival Safety Pixie
Preferred availability: Saturday & Sunday
As a Festival Safety Pixie, you’ll be an extra pair of eyes on the festival grounds during Pixie Spirit Fest. You’ll walk around the site, keep an eye on your surroundings, and help ensure that everything remains safe, clean, and enjoyable for our visitors, volunteers, and vendors.
You’ll politely approach visitors when necessary and identify situations that require extra attention. This could include unsafe situations, disturbances, obstacles, or anything else that isn’t going according to plan. Where possible, you’ll resolve minor issues yourself. For larger or urgent situations, you’ll contact the appropriate person or responsible team.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who is alert, calm, sociable, and responsible. You’re able to assess when you can take action yourself and when it’s important to ask for assistance.
Entrance, Box Office & Ticket Check Pixie
Preferred availability: Saturday & Sunday
As an Entrance, Box Office & Ticket Check Pixie, you’ll be part of the team responsible for giving our visitors a warm welcome and a smooth entry experience. Together, you’ll make sure everyone can enter the festival grounds quickly and with a friendly welcome.
Tasks within the team will be divided among the volunteers. Depending on your role, you may be responsible for scanning and checking tickets, directing visitors to the correct queue or entrance, or selling last-minute tickets and festival tokens.
Since your team will be the first point of contact for our visitors, a friendly attitude, good communication skills, and a welcoming approach are essential. Even when things get busy, you remain calm and work together with your team to keep the flow of visitors running smoothly.
Backstage Pixie (Artists)
Preferred availability: Saturday & Sunday
As a Backstage Pixie (Artists), you’ll work with your team to make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be an important link between the artists, the stage, and the festival organization.
Your responsibilities will include setting up and moving instruments, microphones, equipment, and other essentials. Before and after performances, you’ll help ensure that the stage is changed over quickly and efficiently, so the next artist can start on time.
You’ll also assist artists backstage when needed and keep a close eye on what’s required for each performance. You’ll work closely with the other backstage volunteers and the stage team.
We’re looking for someone who is practical, a great team player, and able to stay calm when things get busy. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and understand that good preparation behind the scenes helps create an amazing experience for the audience.
As we welcome artists from different countries, it’s important that you speak Dutch as well as good English and/or German.
Backstage Pixie (Entertainment)
Preferred availability: Saturday & Sunday
As a Backstage Pixie (Entertainment), you can contribute to the entertainment program at Pixie Spirit Fest in a variety of ways. You can choose to work backstage as part of a team, or you can independently take part in one of the entertainment activities organized by Pixie.
Backstage, you’ll support activities such as the costume competition. You’ll assist participants, help with preparations, and make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
You may also be involved in various entertainment acts, where you’ll interact with visitors, explain what’s happening, and help create a fun and memorable experience. Perfect if you enjoy being in the spotlight yourself!
The Backstage Pixie (Entertainment) role is therefore suitable for both team players and creative, enthusiastic individual performers. You’re sociable, flexible, and enjoy entertaining people and helping create an unforgettable festival experience.
Merchandise & Information Pixie
Preferred availability: Friday through Monday
As a Merchandise & Information Pixie, you’ll be the main point of contact for our visitors. You’ll help visitors with their questions, provide information about the festival, and make sure everyone feels welcome and well informed. You’ll also enthusiastically sell the coolest Pixie Spirit Fest merchandise.
On Friday, you’ll help set up and prepare the information and merchandise booth. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be there for our visitors, answering questions and making sure the merchandise is neatly displayed and sold smoothly.
As we expect visitors from both the Netherlands and abroad, it’s a plus if you speak good English or German in addition to Dutch.
For this role, we’re also looking for volunteers who are proficient in Dutch Sign Language (NGT). This helps ensure that visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing can independently and comfortably get the information they need at our information desk.
Sanitation Pixie
Preferred availability: Saturday & Sunday
As a Sanitation Pixie, you’ll help keep the sanitary facilities at Pixie Spirit Fest clean, tidy, and well stocked. You’ll contribute to a pleasant and hygienic environment for all our visitors, volunteers, and crew.
Throughout the day, you’ll keep an eye on the toilets and sanitary facilities, clean them when necessary, and make sure toilet paper and other supplies are replenished in a timely manner. You’ll report any issues or problems to the responsible team.
We’re looking for someone who is hygiene-conscious, independent, practical, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Fixie Pixie
Preferred availability: Friday through Sunday
As a Fixie Pixie, you’ll be part of a flexible and hands-on team. You’re the go-to problem solvers of Pixie Spirit Fest. Is something broken, does something need moving, is extra help needed somewhere, or does an unexpected problem arise? That’s when you jump into action. You think in solutions and make sure small problems are dealt with quickly.
You’ll also help keep the festival grounds clean and tidy by emptying waste containers when needed and making sure all supplies are properly monitored and kept stocked.
This role is perfect for hands-on people who enjoy working as part of a team, are flexible, and like the fact that no two days are ever the same.
Bar Pixie
Preferred availability: Saturday & Sunday
As a Bar Pixie, you’ll work with your team to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere at the bar. You’ll be responsible for pouring and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to our visitors.
You’ll take orders, make sure drinks are served quickly and neatly, and work with your team to keep the bar clean, organized, and well stocked. During busy periods, you’ll work efficiently as a team to make sure visitors are served as quickly as possible.
You’re sociable, friendly, and able to stay calm under pressure, and you enjoy interacting with a wide variety of visitors. You’re a team player and help create a great festival atmosphere.
Please note: You must be 18 years or older for this role.
Distribution Pixie
Preferred availability: Thursday through Monday
As a Distribution Pixie, you’ll be an important point of contact for our volunteers, artists, and entertainment teams. From the distribution area, you’ll make sure everyone receives the right materials and access passes and that everything is properly registered.
Your responsibilities will include handing out and collecting walkie-talkies, distributing Pixie uniforms and volunteer wristbands, and providing wristbands for artists and entertainment teams. You’ll also handle the check-in and check-out of volunteers, ensuring the team always knows who is present.
You’re organized and detail-oriented, and you’re able to keep an overview even when things get particularly busy. You’re friendly, helpful, and enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people within the organization.
Together with your team, you’ll make sure everyone starts their shift with the right equipment and access and that everything is properly returned and registered afterwards.
You’re the central distribution point of Pixie Spirit Fest: organized, helpful, and always ready to get our Pixies started!
