Just one more year until Pixie Spirit🧚
Wow, time really flies! Almost a year ago, the Pixie Team was born, and we decided to take the plunge together and start organizing Pixie Spirit Fest.
Because we didn’t want to make any rushed decisions and wanted to take our time with everything, we decided to give ourselves two years. And that first year? WOW, it absolutely flew by! *Poof!*
It’s now April 17th, and exactly one year from now, at this very moment, the very first edition of Pixie Spirit Fest will be in full swing. Can you imagine it?
What have we been up to?
Over the past year, the Pixie Team has mainly been focused on research. Starting with the “boring” stuff: how do you organize an event? What do you need to take into account? Which permits do we need?
Besides all the dusty groundwork, we also had to find a location and figure out what kind of event we want to create, and how we want to stand out from other similar events.
We’ve also been actively searching for vendors who fit our vision and have been in contact with various bands. On top of that, we’ve been negotiating with market stall builders and stage suppliers. In short: a lot of homework.
One more year to go
Yes, yes, just one more year to go! While people around us kept saying, “You’ve still got two years,” we already started to realize in January that those two years had shrunk to about a year and a half. And when April arrived and spring began to bloom, that realization only grew stronger: just one year to go! Just one year until Pixie Spirit Fest.
Right now, we’re busy handling registrations for vendors. At the same time, preparations are underway for ticket sales, which will start this summer. And… the first three bands have already been booked 😱
Last month, the Pixie Team also started working on the very first Pixie Spirit decoration pieces. Together with our Pixies, we worked hard for three weekends—and the results are amazing!
Of course, we also started wondering: “What will the grounds look like during the event?” That’s why we traveled last week to Landgoed Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt to see what the area looks like in April.
In the next video, we’ll take you along on a flyover of the grounds.
As you can see, the grounds are already turning beautifully green, and the buds in the blossom orchard are about to burst 🌸🌿
We can’t wait to transform the grounds into the fantasy world of Pixie Spirit Fest next year and welcome all visitors here in their most beautiful costumes.
In our dreams, we can already see the entire event coming to life—and we call these dreams Pixie Spirit Fest 0.5. Hmm… maybe we should take you along into our dreams sometime soon, to Pixie Spirit Fest 0.5 😉 If only that were possible, right?
