Yessss it’s finally happening! Today we may FI-NAL-LY announce the location of Pixie Spirit Fest 2027. 🥳
Over the past six months, we have traveled all across the Netherlands to find the perfect location. Our goal was to find a location that was more than just fairytale-like. No, it also had to be easily accessible by public transport, wheelchair accessible, and centrally located in the Netherlands.
Fortunately, the Pixie team has friends living all over the Netherlands, from Noordwijk to Venlo, and from Rockanje all the way to Heerenveen. For every possible location, we looked at the travel time by car from the cities mentioned above to the potential location. We kept searching until we found a location that was approximately the same driving distance for all of these cities and that also had a train station nearby.
After a long search, this led us to the middle of the Netherlands, to a small town in Gelderland that literally borders Utrecht and that also happens to have a fantastically beautiful estate.

We are unbelievably proud of this fairytale-like location 🧚. When we walked through the gates of Mariënwaerdt for the first time, we knew it. This is our location!
The estate has many indoor spaces 🛖 that we will of course be making use of; in addition, these buildings together form a stunning fairytale village 🦄. There is a beautiful open field, many lovely photo locations, a gorgeous orchard, and a romantic forest path to wander along.

Some fun extra facts about this location:
🚗 The parking area is located directly next to the entrance, so you don’t have to walk for another half hour to reach the gate.
🚂 The train stops every fifteen minutes at Beesd station.
🚶🏼 Would you prefer to walk? No problem at all—the train station is 2.7 km from the grounds! You’ll be there in about half an hour 😉.
🚌 Not in the mood for a walk? Of course, we will arrange shuttle buses to take you from the station to the entrance and back.
